Covid-19 Response

- Masks worn properly at all times
- Frequent handwashing
- Maintain 3 feet distance
- Tables and materials cleaned between usage
- Availability of hand sanitizer

As we adjust to being back together in person, the PTA would like to provide alternative outdoor places for learning and gathering safely. Donate here to help provide materials and structures, including tents, for our Matthew Whaley students and staff.
COVID Close Contacts: Who Needs to Quarantine?
WJCC Schools follows CDC quarantine guidelines for people who have a potential exposure to COVID-19. We’ve created these resources below to help families understand who needs to quarantine and when.
- What to do if your student has been identified as a close contact?
- What to do if your student tests positive for COVID?

Is it a cold or something more?
We love to have our students back in school full-time, but not if they are not feeling well. Parents/guardians should evaluate students’ health daily for signs of COVID. An easy way to do this is to use WJCC Symptom Checker (English / Spanish). If a student is experiencing any of the listed symptoms, they must stay home until they feel well and/or cleared by a doctor to return.
Besides monitoring students’ health, parents/guardians should check in with their close contacts. If a close contact is experiencing COVID symptoms or has tested positive, the student should remain home and be seen by a medical provider.
